Thanks for posting up your site to share - I'd hoped to respond more quickly than this but unfortunately the past few days have been very busy!
First of all, I think the subject matter of your website is excellent and I think the design you've chosen for it is extremely sympathetic to the subject matter.
I do have a couple of suggestions to make - some of these are based on personal preference and some based on things that I think could optimise your site. These suggestions would be:
1) On the front page, you have a lot of information on the right hand side with empty space on the left, and then when you get to the bottom of that information you then have more information on the left with a lot of empty space on the right. I notice on other pages on your site you have other examples of this where the two aspects are displayed next to each other and I think it would improve the front page if this were true there as well.
2) The "header" of your site has quite a lot of "white space", and I think it might be worth considering you adding a second "tagline" to fill some of that white space - such as "Bringing awareness to paediatric palliative care at home". In this way you would be reinforcing the positive message that your website is trying to communicate.
3) I notice that your site does have meta tags which should help the site get picked up by Google and other search engines - however, I also think it would be a good idea to add a "meta description" of your site as well. I don't know whether Netobjects Fusion 11 has a facility to support this, but if it does, it might be worth updating your site with this.
Looking at the code that Netobjects has generated for your site, I must confess that (as with 99% of web design software that creates webpages via a visual interface) the HTML code is quite "bloated", and this may slow down the loading time of your site - however, I do accept that not everybody has the time to sit down and learn HTML and CSS code from scratch just to put one website together! :)
I hope these comments and suggestions are helpful, and once again, well done on putting together a great site about an excellent subject!
Best wishes,
Chris
cheers thanks for the advice
ill tweak some stuff on the next upgrade
cheers
