Poker is a journey

Last weekend was a wonderful weekend for one of my friends, he was playing in a $100.00 rebuy tournament online and came 4th securing himself $47,400.00. This HUGE win increased his total winnings for the year to $76,000.00. The amazing part of this is that he is still in college studying to be a maths teacher and only turned 21 last year, Having spent a lot of time playing with him mainly at the local games it is indeed a wonder that someone so young can learn so much and become so successful… Continue

hugs

Hugs

It’s wondrous what a hug can do,

A hug can cheer you when you’re blue.

A hug can say, I love you so

Or gosh, I hate to see you go.

A hug is Welcome back again

And it’s very sad when a Clown dies

As great as see you, or Where’ve you been?

A hug can soothe a small child’s pain

And bring a rainbow after rain.

The hug! There is no doubt about it

We scarcely could survive without it,

A hug delights and warms and… Continue

Hello Paypal would you like fries with that?

Last month I finally opened an account at Paypal, for years I have just used my partners to purchase stuff off eBay and receive payments, which did cause some eyebrows to be raised as in her email address the word "babe" is in there. Anyways I had done some content work for a foreign company, basically writing about ten pages of text for them and also had a couple of advertisers wanting to pay me that way, I thought, "Great, set my own up and then I am not bothering my girlfriend" So after 3… Continue

Limited web design testing

This is only a short message for all those web designers who do not test their sites fully, not everyone uses, or wants to be forced to use IE. If your site does not work in the most standards compliant browser, Opera, then you are doing something wrong. I am a touch fed up with sites that only work in IE. After all I shop online with Opera, so if your site does not work, I do not buy.

How do you easily monitor what people are saying about your business or website?

Hi,

Do you want to know if people are linking to your website or talking about you? It is easy and free with Google Alerts. Not using Google Alerts already? Then I would recommend setting this up, as they are extremely useful.

How?

Goto http://www.google.co.uk or http://www.google.com

If you don't have a Google account already, then you will need to sign up for one. You can use… Continue
